DESCRIPTION:Besom (Broom) \nAs the season turns from fall towards winter we reach the traditional end of the year in Celtic traditions. The end of harvest and in preparation for winter marked the time to “sweep out the old and welcome the new”. In November’s class we will bundle together branches with colorful thread\, beads\, charms\, and yarn.  We will discuss color and symbols for manifesting the energy you wish to attract to your home and to help you sweep away any negative energies from the previous year. \nJoin us bi-monthly for a crafting circle inspired by the eight sabbats of the Wheel of the Year. In each session\, we’ll create a seasonal craft rooted in the traditions\, symbols\, and energy of the coming holiday\, drawing inspiration from books like Crafting the Wheel of the Year\, The Wheel of the Year: An Illustrated Guide to Nature’s Rhythms\, and The Natural Home Wheel of the Year. \nExpect an easy hands-on project each session\, ready to take home or finish up later with confidence. DESCRIPTION:Crochet Crystal Holder \nJanuary brings in the cold\, restful time of the year.  Carrying around stones to remind you of the safety of the warm earth (grounding stones such as jasper\, argonite\, and onyx)\, the bright skies of spring (Air associated crystals such as quartz\, lapis lazuli\, or blue kyanite)\, or the bright warmth of a cheerful fire (Fire associated stones such as carnelian\, pyrite or sunstone) can help with the winter blues.  Come and turn any tumbled ½ – 1 inch stone into a charming necklace.
