Led by Crazy Wisdom Bookstore staff\, Noelle Barby.\nJoin us as we explore new worlds\, confront speculative ideas\, and dive into the most imaginative corners of literature. If you love tales of future technologies\, far-off galaxies\, magic\, mythical creatures\, and dystopian societies\, this is the club for you. We aim to read a mix of works across both the science fiction and fantasy genres or wherever the group takes us! \nFirst Book: Parable of the Sower\nOur first read is Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler. \nThis powerful novel is set in a dystopian near-future California\, ravaged by climate change\, economic inequality\, and social unrest.
