Wand
In March, we have the first noticeable stirrings of spring, the weather is starting to warm, the days are noticeably longer and we may begin planning our gardens and setting intentions for when the growing season will start again. Wands are often used to set intentions or help with focus for self-manifesting so this is the perfect time to make your own wand. Come and make your wand using sticks, stones, feathers, colored strings, etc. to set your intentions for the coming season of growth.
Join us bi-monthly for a crafting circle inspired by the eight sabbats of the Wheel of the Year. In each session, we’ll create a seasonal craft rooted in the traditions, symbols, and energy of the coming holiday, drawing inspiration from books like Crafting the Wheel of the Year, The Wheel of the Year: An Illustrated Guide to Nature’s Rhythms, and The Natural Home Wheel of the Year.
Expect an easy hands-on project each session, ready to take home or finish up later with confidence. Projects shift with the season: seasonal wreath making, witches’ bells, blooming floral charms, garden-harvested potions, crocheted pieces, pocket altars, beadwork, and other crafted adornments. No experience necessary. All materials and skill levels welcome.
